4.1 Candidates will be able to help students use technology tools to collaborate with others inside and outside the classroom.
My class participated in an online concert with Dave Ruch. This concert was engaging for students and we joined many other students from all over to enjoy the concert. This allowed my students to see how utilizing technology can help us connect with others from various places. During the concert, Dave Ruch interacted with students by the teachers commenting in a chat box. "Students got to move, think, laugh, learn, respond to questions, and enjoy a shared experience with classrooms just like theirs from across North America and beyond," (Daveruch.com, 2016).

4.2 Candidates will be able to use technology tools to collaborate with colleagues.
As the leader of the technology/UDL committee, I knew that it would be imperative that we had a platform to communicate with one another and collaborate from any device at any time. I decided to set up a Google Drive folder for our committee so that all members could access and contribute at any time. Each meeting I would set up a folder including the agenda and any documents needed to support our meeting. Throughout our meeting times, we collaborated to brainstorm and organize the materials and resources to support our whole staff in this Google folder. When needed, we would disperse the information and resources to the staff in a supportive fashion. By utilizing the Google platform, all committee members were able to be connected at any time. If we did not have this shared folder, I don't think all members would have felt as connected or would've taken as much ownership over our tasks in each meeting. For our first year, the technology/UDL committee was relatively successful, and I believe that having the technology tool such as the Google platform helped us to be as collaborative and connected as possible.
